Teaching Textbook Pre-Algebra Complete Set

Teaching Textbook Pre-Algebra Complete Set

I love Teaching Textbooks Pre-Algebra! A dignified, gentle teacher carefully explains each lesson. If my daughter got any wrong or needs review, there is a solution CD that will show her exactly how to do each problem. There is a lot of review built in to the program. TT has greatly freed up my time as the teacher (which helps since I have several children). The only downside to Teaching Textbook Pre-Algebra is that we were used to the lower levels that are more computer interactive with an automatic gradebook. This one requires manual grading so there is a delay in knowing if a solution is correct or not. I called Teaching Textbooks and they said they are working on converting their entire line to be like Math 3-7. That will make it perfect. It is expensive, but I feel you get what you pay for. It far surpasses a regular textbook. It also holds incredibly high resale value on places like eBay. I highly recommend it!

Teaching Textbooks Algebra I

Friday, July 30th, 2010

Do you think that you’ve tried every math program on the market for homeschoolers? Well, if this isn’t one that your student has tried and you need a tried and true, easy to use Algebra program. Bit the bullet and invest in this easy-to-use, very thorough, and academically challenging algebra program. You won’t be sorry! Our daughter had given up on Algebra, ‘Will I really use it anyway?’, until we ordered this from Timberdoodle last fall. Math is now her favorite subject and we’ve been homeschooling 10 years and she’s NEVER said that before!

Teaching Textbooks Algebra 2

Teaching Textbooks Algebra 2

EVERYTHING is explained!

After using Saxon and ABeka math for years, our children have really enjoyed the switch to Teaching Textbooks.  EVERYTHING is explained! Teacher preparation time is a minimum.  This curriculum has interesting facts about the history of mathematics woven into the lessons; witty tutorial computer CD’s that visibly teach and are searchable by problem; and student-friendly grading keys. It is the perfect 4th-12th mathematics curriculum!!
