The Big Bag of Science is a wonderful bargin! There are so many fun experiments that it is hard to keep the kids to save some for other days. Some experiments do built off each other so watch out you dont throw anything away that you will be needing. I would recommend this kit to any parent!

Okay, I am not as impressed with the 3-D Skeleton puzzle as I thought I would be. The detail is excellent, but the rib cage was difficult to put together and kept falling apart. Also, it wouldn’t stay on the stand once we (yes, it took an 11 year old and an adult) got it together. If I had known how it was, I am not sure I would have purchased this item.

I have to say that I am VERY impressed with the 4-D Human Skin Anatomy Puzzle. I teach nursing as well as medical terminology at the college level. I planned on using this with my children, but I am going to take it in to the college students as well. The detail is absolutely amazing and will give my children and adult students a truly amazing picture of the skin. Definitely an excellent buy!

We bought this (OLLO Action Kit) for our science loving 7 year old for his birthday. It is like an erector set with a battery pack. We knew it was going to be one of those toys where an adult would have to assist in the building of it, but that was ok with us. Right away our son and his dad built 2 of the creations: the windmill and the puppy. The fact that the battery pack makes them work (backwards and forwards) was great fun. He was proud of himself for being able to mostly build it. I hope to buy an additional set for Christmas. This will be a toy that will be played with again and again.
It does have small pieces, but afterall, it is recommended for children ages 8 and up.

Unintentionally Hysterical
I was a bit surprised that our kids liked this (Make Your Own Snowman World Kit) as much as they did. Watching snowballs & ice cubes expand in water isn’t much fun, though, so let ‘em soak the night before. (3- hours and they’re marble-sized.) Follow the snow-making directions exactly and your kids will ooohh and aaahh just like mine. Our 5 (11-22) spent three hours making little wintry scenes, laughing hysterically. The small colored balls included for eyes and buttons run quite a bit leading to some truly funny snowmen. The directions say if one simply lets the stuff dry out it can be used again. However, after four weeks, our showballs and ice cubes were still rather large. We ended up throwing ours out and feeling smart for having ordered two kits. While I’m not sure the mfgs intended to make us laugh as much as we did, this product is totally worth the time, the very little $$, and the slight mess it makes, and is appropriate for summer and winter. (Fall and spring? You should go outside and play!)

Fun and Educational
I don’t exactly know if this is a puzzle, a book, an educational tool…because it functions as all of the above. It is a puzzle in the sense that you take the body parts out and then you have to replace them in the correct order. It is a book because the book is very colorful, interesting, easy to follow and read and just wonderful. And it is educational tool…not only will you learn about the human body and the basic parts, but also the bones, the muscles and the major organs of the body. They say it is for ages 8 and up, but my 7 year old loves it and can put it together. The added medical instruments are a bonus…very fun to play doctor with as you are taking apart and putting back together the human body, plus it is good for developing fine motor skills. The squishy body parts are also a hit with my kids. This is a winner all the way around. I am glad we bought this item.

This kit includes 12 simple experiments that were fun for our three and four year old. At this age, much of our science occurs outdoors exploring insects, animals, the garden, and nature. We used this kit in the winter months when everything outside was frozen. Our kids enjoyed all the color changing experiments and making the fizzing volcanoes. The experiments were easy to do and without the kit I am not sure we would have done them.

Primary Science Set by Learning Resources
We purchased the Primary Science Set as a Christmas git for our 4 year old, and she has had a blast with it. She is able to gather the supplies and do the experiments with help from us. The goggles are perfect, and the big tweezers are easy for her to use. I wish there were a few more experiments, but it is a wonderful product anyway. I would recommend this to anyone who has young children to get them interested in science at an early age!

Incredible Set!
I purchased the Knex Transportation set many months ago for my eight and nine year old sons for Christmas. I was so excited to give it to them and it was definitely worth the wait. They both LOVE it! They have built the majority of the models already. There are a ton of models, they just devour them! Most of the models inspire their own improvements, changes and ultimately their own designs. I love what they learn building with Knex and how they can now “see” the infrastructure and build almost anything they choose to. This is the first Knex set we have seen with design cards rather than a design book. The cards are thick and high quality and allow multiple children to build multiple models simultaneously. Incredible set!
