Thinking Putty is Silly Putty but enhanced with knock-your-socks-off colors that shift or morph completely as you squeeze.
I purchased a few kinds of this putty as Christmas gifts, and they turned out to be the most popular thing under the tree! My children love to manipulate it while in waiting situations (in the car, before hockey games, and even while I read aloud); they’re particularly fascinated with the color-changing properties of the “Hypercolor” variety and are eager to try the other versions. I’m convinced that this product has therapeutic, stress-relieving qualities for adults as well – it’s hard to keep your hands off of it!
This game works best with one kid in small bits of time, like in a waiting room or on a car trip. My grandkids didn’t find it varied enough to stick with for extended play, by they liked doing 3 or 4 challenges before going on to something different. The storage box is convenient.

Thank you for carrying this awesome product. It was an answer to prayer. My daughter is a Junior in High School commented that she thought it took her too long to complete her reading in various subjects. We prayed for God to redeem this area. We confirmed her suspsion when she took the reading speed test for the ACT. We downloaded the 30 day trial from the software’s site. We are so grateful for this product.

We bought these books for Christmas for our oldest son several years ago. He loved them and has passed them down to his younger two brothers who both devoured the series and also gave them a thumb’s up! These books have carved out a permanent place on our bookshelf and are just waiting for the youngest two boys in the family to get old enough to read them as well. An investment I’ve never regretted!

If you want your child to practice and polish their handwriting skills than this is the book for you. There is adequate space for writing assignments in the book but an additional thin notebook is needed to copy Bible verses almost every other day. In the back there are lined pages which correspond with the teacher’s guide to complete the weekly lesson as extra motivation. But for myself, as a teacher, the last section was my least favorite part. I would have preferred everything laid out in order and not needing the teacher’s guide for the extra work in the back of the work text.

My son is a poor speller, so I bought this hoping to supplement our regular lessons, thinking he could work on his own to improve his spelling. He was a 6th grader at the time, I started him in the 5th grade level. The words they gave him were very challenging. There is no way for the teacher to see the word list ahead of time. The words lists seemed to be topical. First were science related words, then world countries (many even I struggled with!), then flower names and instruments. We didn’t use it any further than this. Also, if the student takes too long to type in the answer, even if they get it right, they do not get a perfect score. I would not recommend this to anyone with a struggling speller, or who is easily discouraged.
The Story of the World history series is great! The storytelling format is engaging enough to interest my youngest children, while the sallient historical points are covered for my older kids. The accompanying Activity books are a valuable asset, cementing the history lesson with fun and memorable projects, map work, and lists of related books. They are a strong base to build upon!

You cannot go wrong with any book written by Susan Hunt. We have read this book over and over to our children. Not only does it present sound Biblical theology, it is truly loved by our children. I anticipate reading it many more times in the years to come. Cassie and Caleb feel like they are a part of our family.
I debated about this for awhile and finally did purchase it. I try to make Wednesdays game day, you have to play a game together. So one Wednesday I brought it out. My kids opened it a little skeptical, I have gotten some games that are just too hard. No so here. They all liked it! It’s good to help with geography and thinking skills. It’s not difficult to learn and it’s fun enough to play several times.
We’ve tried a couple of different phonics programs and found that The Reading Lesson Book was a good fit for our son. The lessons build on each other in a logical progression and help the child gain confidence in their reading ability. Within a few weeks using this program, our son was able to read simple books.
