Valedictorian Against Traditional Schooling

During a highschool graduation a valedictorian speaks out against traditional schooling! Interesting to hear a student’s perspective fresh from school.

I started watching this and I wanted to like it, but I thought she sounded bratty and disrespectful, and I shut if off. Why didn’t she just say before graduation, “I don’t really appreciate this, why don’t you give it to someone who will? ” It would be like a girl who is elected homecoming queen getting up and talking about how superficial beauty/popularity pagents are, but not refusing the crown. I”m sure this girl is going to put this on college applications and such. I just thought it was a slap in the face of the teachers who worked hard to teach her.
