Newly Added
McDonald’s Farm Counting Book
Discovered this year, and such a huge hit with our test toddler that we had to add it to the core. The popping buttons really make counting fun for this age.

Primary Science Kit
The best quality science tools we’ve seen for the under 6 crowd, we decided to add it to the Toddler Curriculum as the tools will actually hold up to a toddler’s abuse, encouraging exploration.

Big Book Of Things To Spot
We originally added this for the quarter of the book that shows historical settings in vivid pictures worthy of lots of discussion. The rest of the book is a terrific bonus as it fosters the discussion which ought to be the main teaching mode at this age.

Rubbabu
Brand new, this velvety soft puzzle has been a big hit with local toddlers and their moms. Plus, the animal pieces can be taken out and used as toys. We love multi-purpose.

Infantino Peek-A-Boo Animal Puzzles
Replacing the more expensive Connect Puzzles, these are not only made of sturdy cardboard but also have lift-the-flap type pieces for even more fun.

3D Feel and Find
Another terrific multi-purpose find. The young toddler will enjoy just putting the wooden shapes in the puzzle frames. An older child will enjoy reaching into the bag and finding the right shape by feel alone. All will likely enjoy using the little animals and people as actors in their next table-top story or as friends in the dollhouse.

Imagiplay Buddy Blocks
We have been looking for an inexpensive cube puzzle that was easy enough for a little one and not made with shoddy workmanship. That was much harder to find than it ought to have been, but we think you’ll be delighted by this truly lovely wooden puzzle which features 6 friendly animals.

The Music Box
Everyone agrees that songs and rhymes build important verbal and social skills as your child learns to keep pace with you, and even more when those are accompanied by actions. The Music Box allows you to simply pull a card and get started without having to try to wrack your brain for a new song for today.

Earlyears Lace A Shape
More advanced then the Sew N Sew, Lace A Shape offers an intermediate lacing for little hands, but with bigger pieces

Planning Helps folder
Upgraded to the 2011 format to make it easier for you to reference and use.

Retired From The Core

BrainBox
Lauri Perception Puzzles
Sadly discontinued by the manufacturer.

Scooter
We decided to sell it separately to keep costs down and because we are adding a new scooter to our catalog – pick the one that’s best for your family.

Shape Sorting Caterpillar
Replaced with Feel and Find, which was more versatile.

Easy Grip Tweezers
Magnifying Glass
Now included in the Primary Science kit.

Connect Animal Puzzles
Replaced with Infantino Peek-A-Boo Animal Puzzles, which are cheaper and will (hopefully!) give us less availability problems.

Fun Gripper Beanbags
Beanbags are readily available and many moms would rather make their own than pay for a set.

Beleduc’s Colorful Caterpillars Game
Replaced with Earlyears Lace A Shape (bigger pieces) and moved to Preschool. Not all toddlers were ready for the small pieces in this game.
