A Young Scholar’s Guide to Composers is an excellent year long study of music and it’s history for the elementary age student. This book would work equally well in a homeschool or in a home where children are educated traditionally yet are eager for more information about the history of music and even in a traditional classroom.
In all, if you’re looking to add a little something to your science, this might be a pleasant, relaxing, informative addition.
